石材术语中英文对照
| 板石 (slate) |
商业上指易沿流片理产生的劈理面裂开成薄片的一种岩石，微晶变质岩，通常大部分源于页沿，主要由云母、亚氯酸岩和石英组成。 |
| 大理石 (marble) |
商业上指以大理岩为代表的一类装饰石材，包括碳酸盐岩和与其相关的变质岩，主要成份为碳酸盐矿物，致密且可抛出镜面光泽，一般质地较软。 注--再结晶石灰石、致密的微晶石灰石和石灰华若能抛出镜面光泽，则也包含在商业大理石种类范畴，既可以按石灰石销售，也可以按大理石销售。 |

| 大圆边 | R大于10mm的1/4圆边。 |

经选择和加工成的特殊尺寸或形状的天然石材，按照理化性能和商业用途分主要有花岗石、石灰石、大理石、砂岩、板岩五类。 注--天然石材在加工期间使用水泥或合成树脂密封石材的天然空隙和裂纹，未改变石材材质内部结构，仍属于天然石材范畴。 |

用天然花岗岩、天然大理石、天然石灰石、天然砂岩、天然板石等材料加工而成的饰面板材、花线或实心柱体，用作建筑物的内外墙、顶棚、柱面等。 |

使用水泥或树脂基胶粘剂直接将石材粘贴在结构体上形成饰面的一种安装方式。
